Meet the coach
Coach Ray has experience with coaching club soccer, with experience in all formats (4v4–11v11) and holds US Soccer licenses for 4v4, 7v7, and 9v9. A former multi-sport athlete, he’s certified in speed, agility, and quickness for experienced and developing athletes. He emphasizes fundamentals and fitness through fun, challenging sessions in a positive environment. Off-field, he enjoys family time and playing/training soccer.
He founded Athlete Lab Hawaii to develop kids via structured training, mentorship, and team support. He values perseverance, respect, and hard work, and believes youth fitness improves physical and mental health and community. Athlete Lab Hawaii is proud to offer nationally certified coaching to help young athletes grow on and off the field.

Give your child consistent, expert coaching with our flexible, monthly Lab Membership. Members may drop in to any session during their billing cycle, making it easy to fit training into busy family schedules.
Sessions are held Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:00–7:00 PM at Jumpship West gym in Waipahu.
Each session focuses on performance skills, speed, agility, strength, and injury-prevention, delivered by a nationally certified coach who wants to help kids move better. We start with assessing them by conducting a series of athletic tests before training. Periodically throughout the year we revisit these tests to measure their improvment. This por Ideal for kids of all sports experience and fitness levels whether you’re a competitive athlete or new to athletics. It doesn’t matter what sport you play, at Athlete Lab you’ll grow into the best athlete you can be.
